She has been instrumental in leading the company's strategies around labor rights, global sustainability and future innovation. Jones was named one of Fast Company Magazine's 10 Most Creative People of 2010 and the World Economic Forum named her a Young Global Leader in 2008. (2012) Jones encompasses many of the qualities of a good leader and manager . As a leader, she is focused on the future of Nike and how it can become more profitable and sustainable. She has partnered with several organizations that tackle issues such as racism, AIDS, HIV and social injustices. It has always been his passion, even before his job at Nike. His desire for people and their rights has been very beneficial as a leader and also a manager at Nike. (2011) Creating change and initiating goals and strategies is another way to become a good leader. During his employment at Nike, Jones built the SB&I team, comprised of 140 people from different departments and locations across the company. These team members are dedicated full-time to ensuring excellence, creating innovation and improving sustainability. This team, who in one way or another has sustainability linked to their position at Nike, has influence in making decisions regarding improving working conditions, expanding the supply chain business and more profitable purchases.
