  • Essay / The Effects of Germany: The Impact of Nazi Germany

World War II cannot be complete without mentioning the impact of Nazi Germany. With her rapid rise to power after the terrible consequences of the German economy during World War I, she proved to the world that it was not necessary to be powerful all the time to achieve all-powerful power. Nazi Germany impacted the world with its powerful military regime, its cunning strategy to conquer Europe, and its atrocities committed to ensure that the powerful "Aryan race" was preserved from the "corrupt Jews." Thanks to this tremendous rise in power, Europe would be conquered by Nazi Germany in just 15 years. 1914 was one of Germany's best years. It was the most powerful economic and military power in Europe. Due to the war that Germany was involved in, they would have to endure four years of hell, which would eventually lead to the German economy rotting in the gutter. This terrible economic crisis gave birth to a man that everyone would soon know: Adolf Hitler. In early 1919, Hitler developed the German Workers' Party, better known as the Nazi Party. This group promoted strong German pride, anti-Semitism, and discontent with the Treaty of Versailles. Hitler found reparations and blaming Germany for starting World War I unfair. His first step to solving this problem was to become chancellor of Germany. Throughout the 1920s, Hitler gave speeches claiming that all of Germany's problems were due to Jews and communists in the country. His frantic and passionate speeches touched the hearts of young, economically disadvantaged Germans affected by the destructive consequences of the First World War. In 1923, Hitler and his supporters attempted a "putsch", or coup d'état, in Bavaria...... middle of paper ......e Wehrmacht officers attempted to assassinate him with a bomb while he was at a meeting in his underground bunker. Germany was attacked on all fronts. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Hitler was defeated and he knew it. To seal his fate, Hitler committed suicide with his wife Eva by taking cyanide and shooting themselves in the head on April 30, 1945. Shortly afterward, Nazi Germany capitulated. World War II was arguably the worst war in terms of warfare. count of deaths. In this war alone, more than 60 million people were killed, more than 2.5% of the world's population. Germany had a huge impact on Europe, mainly because it conquered almost all of Europe and because of the genocide of the Jews. Once struggling to dominate Europe, then struggling to even exist. Nazi Germany took the world by heart. The last thing the world needs is another army like the Nazi Party..
