Essay / Literary Analysis of Cinderella - 712
Cinderella's stepsisters spend many hours dressing for the ball because they know that the only quality that matters is their appearance. Even Cinderella is fascinated by the pretty clothes her fairy godmother gives her. Prince Charming falls in love with her at first sight not because of her personality but because of the beauty of her attire. The message is that a woman's worth lies in how she dresses and how she looks. This message teaches little girls who constantly listen to the story of Cinderella to become women obsessed with their appearance rather than the quality of their body.
