(Sommerville, et al., 2010) The new challenge for construction project management is established by the Government Construction Strategy (2011), due to the required implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM ) for all public sector projects by 2016. BIM is a new technology. for the construction industry and “its adoption could save the industry money in the long term” (Chevin, 2012). This article aims to analyze the role of the PM and how technical and soft skills can affect his performance.
