Essay / Diet Analysis: Three Day Diet - 1000
One way to change my diet is to add more nutrient-dense foods. Eliminate junk food, including chips, candy, cookies, cakes and other unhealthy snacks. I can also, instead of going overboard on fast food, make a salad or prepare healthy, lean dinners containing all the food groups. Eating fruit can also be a way to ensure I get the nutrients I need. I might make a cup of my favorite fruits which are pineapples and strawberries, I also need to make sure the fruits are fresh and have no added sugars or preservatives. It would also help if I gradually removed unhealthy foods from my diet and replaced them with nutrient-dense foods, as I feel that if I completely change my diet from what I am used to, it will be more difficult to do. I also need to add vegetables to my diet because I rarely eat them. I can add vegetables to my diet by steaming, grilling, or baking them. Or when I go to a restaurant, instead of eating my usual fries with my meal, I might instead get a side of broccoli, corn, or steamed vegetables. Here are some ways I can ditch unhealthy foods and add more nutrient-dense foods that will help me develop a healthier life.
