    This statement could apply to many healthcare professionals, including physicians who learned practice ethics in school. The study concluded that there was a need to study larger numbers of students from diverse countries to get a clearer picture of why education influences attitudes toward euthanasia (Goldschmidt, Margalith, and Musgrave , 2003). As this study focused only on Israeli nursing students, it can be concluded that it is valid for healthcare professionals in Israel who have studied ethical practice, as well as for other countries with ethical standards and similar educational activities. Another study of medical students, including nurses, required them to take a four-month course on ethics and euthanasia (Civaner, Mayda, Oezkara, & Ogalak, 2004).
