Stability is the key to having healthy patients. Neonatal nurses are incredible nurses to have in a healthcare setting. All nurses can provide the same care and reliability in caring for their patients. The nurses are very consistent in the work they do. Being consistent is a very good quality that a nurse should have. Nurses develop stronger feelings and bonds with their patients than doctors. Nurses become more attached to their patients because of the care provided. Doctors have to care for many patients and prescribe medications, so trying to bond with patients is not a huge goal for them as it is for a nurse. Nurses teach their patients to feel welcome and trust them to provide appropriate care, giving them various opportunities to ask questions if necessary. Doctors spend less time with their patients than nurses. Neonatal nurses are capable of building lasting relationships, sometimes short-term, but this is what a nurse primarily focuses on when doing their job to achieve success in the patient's health. Neonatal nurses are very caring and understanding people. They are also reliable and trustworthy. They ensure that their patients are well taken care of regardless of the level in which the newborn may be placed depending on their health condition. After birth, the newborn is placed on the first level which requires and consists of only basic infant care, such as bathing, diaper changing and feeding, in the newborn nursery. Most entry-level nurses are placed in the entry level because it does not require much care or supervision. If nurses want to advance, they will need to continue their education in this field.
