Essay / A time at its worst - 1434
People have evolved from generation to generation. The human race has gone from creating tools to creating a world based on technology. People went from sticks and stones to machine guns, from horses to cars, from candles to electric lights, and from fans to air conditioners. Humanity is in a progressive race towards the development of new invention. The audience has moved slowly in time but is coming full circle. In the future, computers will evolve faster than the human race, leading to complete extinction. Inventors will achieve this, by pushing for artificial intelligence to contain all kinds of information within it, making it better than natural intelligence. This service will become superhumanly intelligent, leading to the annihilation of the human race, then its disappearance in the computer world. Computers were the new invention that humanity created in the 1990s. Computers were sold to over 100 million people in that decade (Smith 2). Inventors kept thinking of ways to improve them and the need for smaller, more accessible computers to take anywhere on a daily basis was perfect (Smith 2). I've been using a computer since I was five years old and have never been without one. I think they are extremely useful for writing assignments or researching information for assignments. The public uses computers every day at work to abstain at home. Since then, inventors have invented computers and creators have only made them smarter. This will lead to artificial intelligence surpassing natural intelligence. The world will get closer and closer to the singularity every day. Singularity is a word that has different definitions according to many researchers, all concluding that technology will become a race and leaving behind middle of paper.... .. humans will be left behind while AI becomes dominant in the world. Computers will evolve faster than humans. Since, with the faster process, they will become self-destruct buttons waiting for their destruction by solar energy. The computers' energy would be solar, which would link it to the destruction of the sun and the end of the world. The aspect of AI collaborating with humans is a big “if,” but it could happen. I think that unless humans now take into account the negative consequences of what might happen in the future, they could be making a huge mistake. People need to be cautious about what might happen to racing if we continue to make computers smarter than us. Scientists have many scenarios for the future thanks to artificial intelligence. Many do not have the same idea of what will happen because artificial intelligence can take many paths..
