Marijuana has emerged in recent years for its positive medical qualities. This presentation is about the pros and cons of marijuana as a sleep aid. Due to the relative newness of acceptance of marijuana's medical quality, research on the connection between marijuana and sleep is relatively limited. Due to the lack of in-depth research, I thought the best course of action for this presentation would be to address the potential benefits and harms of marijuana on sleep, and address each point. I'll introduce the speech by discussing how 60 million Americans have trouble sleeping at night. I will then introduce the topic of medical marijuana and bring it to marijuana as sleep. Next I'll talk about the potential benefits of THC. The first will be an image showing the chemical composition of THC. The image will be used to introduce THC into the speech. The other visual is a graph showing what keeps people from sleeping, a graph I got from a sleep survey by Sleepio. I plan to use Microsoft Powerpoint to display these visuals and any other important information. Another technology I will use is using Adobe Photoshop to adapt my visuals to the overall design of my presentation.
