Essay / Environmental Problems: Air Pollution - 2149
Introduction: Air pollution is one of the critical challenges facing modern societies and is one of the most pressing mental environmental problems. Air pollution is responsible for major harmful effects on human strength, animal survival, natural ecosystems and the man-made environment. It is also responsible for climate change due to the enhancement of the greenhouse effect, acid rain and the reduction of the ozone layer which usher in significant global environmental problems. Air pollution occurs both outdoors and indoors and is caused by human activities and natural mechanisms. Although the degradation of air quality due to air pollution is a global problem that threatens the general well-being of humanity, it is widely associated with environmental biases. (Anastasia Dimitriou and Vasilia Christidou, 2011) Air pollutants come from both manufactured and natural processes. Pollutants are also defined as primary pollutants resulting from burning fuels and manufacturing processes and secondary pollutants, those produced due to the reaction of primary pollutants in the atmosphere. Ambient air quality can be defined by the attention paid to a set of pollutants that may be present in the ambient air that we breathe. These pollutants can be called primary pollutants. Production standards express the allowable concentrations of a contaminant at the point of release before mixing with ambient air. (Anonymous, nd) Outdoor Air Pollution: Outdoor air pollution is defined as the release of several materials called air pollutants into the atmosphere, in attentions that threaten the happiness of living organisms or disrupt the functioning of the environment as an important system for human health. damage in various ways. (Kumar S. & Katoria D. 2013) Sustainability and environmental impartiality can only be ensured through the active participation of countries in environmental actions. In other words, attractive people in creating crucial choices regarding the quality of their environment are a prerequisite for environmental sustainability and impartiality. Therefore, people must be supported to demand a quality of life based on respect and impartiality for all human beings; by guaranteeing equal access to natural resources and health for all; by determining an expansion of their cities in harmony with nature and respecting the cultures of different societies.
