    INTRODUCTIONEducational software as a motivational tool in the teaching of English. Time has passed and the teaching of foreign languages ​​has developed, particularly in the teaching of English. Among the most significant advances, we can cite: the determination of teachers to rely on their own resources, the right to choose their point of intersection between theory and practice and to seek educational solutions to problems. A question that is still debated is that of motivation. English has become an indispensable instrument of communication throughout the world, due to a proliferation of educational methods and texts; from the one designed in 1580 called The English Schoolmaster to teach the French community of London, to the Spectrum (Costinett, 1994) defined and used 400 years later as a communicative English course and many others. The theory and practice of its teaching, as well as the methods and means used, have progressed considerably. This improvement is due to the use of advanced technology. This is the use of technical means in teaching, seen today as one of the trends of the moment. This is developing at a very rapid speed and at the same time, science and technology. Educational technology, which is one of the names given to this trend (Januszewski, 2008), has acquired remarkable diffusion nowadays, because emphasizing its immediate benefits and a very technical and assertive language, it focuses more on methods and means than on content.
