    Communication in FamiliesInitial ThoughtsEvery happy family carries a remarkable secret of success. This success comes from a solid foundation of intimate and close relationships. In fact, these close family bonds are made even stronger through constant communication. Communication as a keystone of various associations helps build strong pillars of filial relationships and improves family lifestyles in order to achieve happiness (Gosche, p. 1). However, many families experience chaotic encounters as they strive to maintain harmonious relationships. For example, some families may have difficulty keeping their relationships in balance. Due to social and economic problems, some parents may decide to separate and others may end up in divorce. This filial disintegration can affect children, especially younger ones, who are not capable of understanding and accepting situations. This is why some parents work even harder to maintain good relationships within family members. Other parents try to achieve their goals in order to create strong family relationships. Although a number of families are slowly disintegrating and breaking apart these days due to various factors, communication within the family still serves as a bridge and tool to rebuild strong foundations of family bonds. Review of Related Literature Communication plays an essential role in the family (Brochner , p. 386). It channels information for each family member about tasks, duties, problems and moral advice. Indeed, this maintains a healthy family atmosphere, especially when each member understands the roles and obligations to assume.
