“I thought maybe I was so determined because I believe in defending people for the right reasons. Deep down, I knew I needed to grow into a field where I could advocate for people with passion, attention to detail and determination. I believe a law degree would equip me and give me the freedom I need to protect the unprotected with a sincere heart. This is something I intend to pursue wholeheartedly if given the opportunity. The ability to defend boldly is something that has been implanted in me since birth. As a child, I felt like I was defending others in primary school and middle school, in high school I was the mediator without ever taking sides between two friends, and in middle school I defended a group of students during a seminar with a passionate speech about how we should not bring others down when we see them falling, we should lift them up.
