For example authors such as Harper Lee; the novelist of “To Kill A Mockingbird” depicted through her book the unfair and inhumane treatment of African-Americans in the American South. The greatest teachers in my experience have always treated the curriculum the same way a skilled tailor treats a hanger. It's a useful tool to use, but something that needs embellishment to be made relevant. My best teacher and my favorite class since I entered high school have always been my English teachers. For what? Because these teachers did not rely on the curriculum provided by the school, as a crutch to make their students succeed in English. rather, it was because they aroused real interest among their students in the topics covered. These teachers are intelligent, insightful, creative, hard-working, and simply magnificent. They have all inspired and motivated me to become an excellent educator myself..
