Second-hand smoke is a very big danger in public places and puts people in danger. Some people are completely unaware of the risks to their health, but also to those around them. The reason smoking is already illegal in places such as public restaurants is due to the harmful effects of smoking on the people around them. Not only should other public places be allowed to ban smoking, but they should also tackle the problems that come with it and get rid of it completely. As most people already know, tobacco kills. Tobacco slowly tightens the noose around the user's neck and prepares them for a slow, painful death. Not only do smokers commit suicide, but they slowly bury others in their cold, carefree graves. People don't realize the distress the illness can cause families. In my experience, a death in the family is very upsetting; having someone taken away is heartbreaking. Knowing the pain this can cause, people should be even more opposed to public behavior.
