Society has changed Christian values ​​and rewritten the Bible; however, Paul refused to let the world shake his faith. As an African American Christian believer, I have faced racism because of my physical appearance and persecution in my spiritual walk; the communities, church and families I have cannot submit to the Word of God because preaching the Word will cause them to make sacrifices. In order to become the man I am, I have had to create new friendships, resist the atheistic perspectives of my friends, continue my involvement in the Church, and isolate my presence from the wicked. Despite what lies ahead, I am determined to live my life as Paul did. Both verses, 1 Corinthians 15:18 and Philippians 3:14, conclude that I must live my life in faith and trust without compromising my Christian beliefs in a secular and corrupt world.
