    Provisions for Disabled People in Football In this essay I will look at how football is delivered in Lisburn from junior to senior level. I will investigate to see if there are any provisions for these disabled people. I will look at each gender and see how each is supported. After looking at my region, I will then look at football internationally and see how it is developing and how people with disabilities are supported. The National Governing Council for Football in N. Ireland is the IFA. The Irish Football Association recognizes all facets of the community and the way people, regardless of age, gender, religion and ability, enjoy football. Alongside youth and women's football, the development of football for people with special needs is an integral part of the IFA's development strategy. The IFA strives to provide every player with a disability the opportunity to participate and enjoy the beautiful game of football. (IFA official website) As you can read, the main objective of the IFA is to promote football to everyone, including people with disabilities and women. They offer football for all ages, from local to international level.
