Many years ago the colonial United States of America was home to many African Americans and still is, but back then were all of these people slaves (African-American communities in the North)? Freedom was difficult for African Americans, but their race survived the long journey to freedom, even though at the time most of them didn't even know what they were going to do when they were freed of what we then called their jobs. You see, most of the slaves brought from Africa were uneducated because they didn't receive any and didn't have many skills, which is why it took so long for this race to get there where she is today.
