Essay / World War I and World War II - 674
Many people are familiar with World War I and World War II, as they are two of the most famous wars in the world. Have you ever wondered how much you really know? This document is here to inform you of all the propaganda used to persuade people to follow Hitler, the Nazi Party and Stalin, terms used at that time, and some of the very important people involved in World War I and World War II . In the heat of World War I, there were two groups, the Allies and the Central Powers. The Allies, including France, Britain and Russia, opposed the Central Powers. Also taking place during this period was the Russian Revolution, a term that described a series of revolutions in Russia. This series of revolutions demolished the Tsarist autocracy and led to the creation of the Soviet Union. Soviet realism is another word for socialist realism, which is the theory of art, literature, and music officially approved by some communist countries. This type of art was meant to change the way people saw things and show them real things rather than putting unimportant fantasies in people's heads. Early fascist Italy was led by Mussolini, the fascist dictator. Fascism was an authoritarian government whose people were extremist nationalists. Mussolini ruled Italy as Prime Minister from 1922 to 1943. He followed constitutional rules until 1925, when he abandoned all democratic ways and became a dictatorship known as II Duce, which means “the leader”. World War II is a very famous and mostly known war. for the leader of the Nazi Party, Adolf Hitler, who was the socialist leader of Nazi Germany. During World War II, governments censored the press. They censored the press because the Nazi Party did not want to have a bad reputation; they wanted to appear well-rounded so they could have as many followers as possible. National economic systems were also set up to recruit, arm, and transport any goods or services that soldiers fighting in the war needed. The Nazi Party did everything they thought would help them in the war, and the best way to do that was to get the people on their side. Unfortunately, many people conformed to Nazi methods. Both World War I and World War II were major events that will live forever in America and many other countries in world history. From the Soviet Union to the Allied Forces to the Axis Powers, from Mussolini to Adolf Hitler, all aspects will be the main reasons why we, the United States, are the country we are today..
