Dietary guidelines for the public can be presented to the public with advice, so as not to confuse or resent the public regard to the changes. If the changes were presented to the public in a way that taught them the recommendations so they understood what they meant, then the public would be less likely to be unhappy with the changes. A good way to teach or guide the public on how to cope or adapt to changes would be to set up shop at a local grocery store or food market and help shoppers understand why they needed to bring dietary changes. With this method, you would be able to attract a good portion of the general public, to a location with the tools to teach the general public about dietary recommendations, which could be done in the form of a community service project and could be offered for free. The industry or media has a major ethical responsibility in ensuring the health of the public. If we talk about the food industry, it is a major source from where the public gets their food; therefore, what they put in our food, we consume and it affects our health. Ethically, they should feel responsible for letting the public know what they are consuming, in the event of an outbreak or contamination of their products. As for the media, they are the source through which the public obtains its information. The public depends on the media to discover and report public health outcomes. The media would not be as ethically responsible, as some information might not be reported or go unnoticed; however, without the media, the public would be in the dark about many health-related situations. Thus, the media has an ethical obligation to investigate and report health outcomes. The impact of diets that make our food healthier, safer and more nutritious. Pesticides and chemicals in our food are known to cause many of the diseases we struggle with today. Additionally, if we buy organically grown foods, they are usually grown locally; therefore, we can allow them to grow to their full potential, allowing them to produce all the nutrients they are supposed to have. This allows the fruits and vegetables we consume to have their full nutritional value. By eating ecological poultry and beef, we eliminate genetically modified animals from our diet, which also cause health problems for individuals. When animals are bred for mass production, they are fed corn and other harmful hormones to enable them to “eat more meat.” This is unhealthy for us and for the animal, it usually leaves unhealthy conditions on the sites where the animals are raised..
