In some countries, every young person must serve two years in the army. Is this a good idea? Should other countries follow this country's example? I believe that a two-year national service commitment is completely unjustified. Every young person should be able to choose to do what they want to do. Think back to a time when you were 17 and 18, would you want someone to force you to go somewhere you didn't want to go.
