A woman is a wonderful creation of God. She is the weak, gentle and gentle half of humanity. Yet she plays one of the most important roles on Earth; a role in perpetuating the human race. Next to a woman should be a man who will help and protect her. Men, however, don't see it that way. Throughout history, women, a victimized gender everywhere, have sought equality, but, unfortunately, male-dominated countries still reject this change. As a result, until today, a woman is still an inferior being to a man. Gender inequality and discrimination are the root causes of abuse and violence against women, influenced by historical and structural power imbalances between women and men that exist to varying degrees in all communities around the world. According to the U.S. Department of Justice's National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS), every two minutes, an American girl aged twelve and older is sexually assaulted. Each year, there are approximately 237,868 victims of sexual assault. People known to the victim commit approximately 2/3 of the attacks. Sexual assault, described in technical terms, is defined as sexual activity between two or more people in which one of the people is involved against their will. The description of “against one's will” extends to varying degrees of aggression, from indirect pressure to direct physical attack. “The Making of a Slut” by Naomi Wolf describes the difficult conditions and circumstances in which society labels women as “good” or “bad” and the consequences that result. Throughout her brilliant essay, Wolf emphasizes the fact that society will scrutinize and criticize women, especially when they show that inappropriate side of them, that... middle of paper ... comrades raped her . essay, I pointed out how society treats women unfairly, and no matter how much time has passed, the fact that women have been and always will be abused and sexually assaulted still remains the same. Based on Wolf's argument, women need to understand that the "bad girl" is a reality for everyone. Therefore, it will not be possible for them to live comfortably until they all unite and support each other. What women, especially adolescent girls, need to understand is that they will always be targeted by men wherever girls are vulnerable. Nightclubs, parties and any other place where girls usually let their guard down, men will take this opportunity to attack you. Unfortunately, for women, society continues to blame them for everything that happened, because they were in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and did the wrong thing...
