    The Rococo Fashion Period occurred in the 18th century in Europe and other European-influenced countries. (History of Fashion-Rococo). France, as a major arbiter of Rococo fashions, designed with exquisite fabrics, silks, velvets, embroidery, lace, feathers, ribbons, ruffles and fur that would characterize the century. The movement is known for incorporating French "rocaille" and Italian "baroque" to create Rococo, known to be more delicate than the previous Baroque movement of the 17th century (Fashion History.zee). By studying Rococo fashion one can learn the history and one can easily see that 18th century fashions still influence modern fashion.
