    When I started first year of English, I wasn't really sure how I would like to learn it since I had a very laid back and forgiving teacher at high school. Essays were usually intimidating for me in high school because I didn't understand how to say more about the topic. I thought the class would be extremely difficult after the professor started talking about all the assignments we had to complete this semester. However, it was very helpful to me and I became a better and stronger writer over the course of a few months through creating essays and receiving helpful feedback on how to improve them. My first essay, My Journey as Job's Daughter, was the hardest for me to get started. The autoethnography was supposed to be written about a group I was a part of. Job's Daughters is a huge part of my life, and it was easy to make it personal, but getting started with writing is usually the hardest part for me.
