    The economy would suffer a huge impact and the production of certain equipment would decline or even stop altogether. The health of many Americans would also suffer, as medical supplies would take longer to arrive and, in the event of a medical emergency, transportation to a hospital would be nearly impossible. Additionally, everyone who works in the auto industry would lose their jobs and have to find another one in a society currently struggling with high unemployment rates. Therefore, it would be a great loss for American society if the vehicles were banned in the United States.
