Essay / Iranian Women Before and After the Iranian Revolution will illustrate Iranian women's different perspectives on Islam to highlight the current condition of Iranian society. Finally, it will explain how women were subjugated in politics and how influential their role was and remains in the politics of modern Iran. According to Sullivan, in an attempt to open up to the rest of the world in the 1930s, Iran was developing a gradually modernized state, thereby reducing the religious and social restrictions that bound and alienated Iranian women (223). However, this was before the Islamic government made many religious customs into law. Iranian women before and after the 1979 revolution show that women's advanced education contributed to urban frustration with the place of women in Iranian society and that several Iranian intellectuals support feminist viewpoints. As we have shown above, women's movements have been involved in every major political and social change in Iran's modern history. This reflects the essential role of women as a fundamental subject in Iranian society. Fetemah's signature model, presented by Shariati as a symbol of liberated women, accurately reflects Iranian women before and after the revolution. Until today, the spirit of rebellious and liberated urban women is formed in Iranian women.
