Essay / Biomimicry test - 1074
1. Introduction: What do we mean by biomimicry? Biomimicry is the intention to imitate and copy resources, structures and organisms from nature and then use them biologically for human purposes. A Sustainability Problem in Technology and Industry In everyday life, there are things that we need to survive. And sustainability issues arise every day. One of these problems is energy loss. The world consumes a lot of energy and new ideas need to be formed to help the rest of the world and the future of generations to come survive. The problem is that people are consuming energy and not using it efficiently. Scientists therefore need to find ways to solve the sustainability problem that arises. This is where wind turbines are used to generate this energy, but the wind turbines themselves are very large, noisy and kill birds. New designs must therefore be found to facilitate the use of energy and adapt the size and structure of the wind. turbines on a smaller scale to avoid harming nature and the species around it. The role of nature in solving the sustainability problem Nature itself contributes in different ways to solving the sustainability problem. The weather and the wind itself contribute to the operation of wind turbines. By asking scientists to find a way to solve the problem of sustainability, the actual problem is solved by nature and tested in nature in order to solve the problem. Therefore, it can be said that the role of nature in solving the sustainability problem is simply to be there to allow scientists to test the experiment and solve the sustainability problem. Hypothesis It is possible that the structure of the dragonfly and its thin dragonfly-like material would win...... middle of paper ......the effectiveness of the army was unknown. Reading information and looking for clues (which wasn't extremely easy) turns out to have expanded my knowledge about nature and biomimicry itself and that there are so many people already using wind turbines to harvest wind energy and who know how to save the world. So I came to the conclusion and saw that my hypothesis turned out to be right. It is possible that the structure of the dragonfly and its thin material-like wings could be copied and used scientifically on micro wind turbines. for energy efficiency.
