Queen Dido listens to the refugees' pleas. After listening to their demands and desires, she accepts them with open arms. Aeneas finally shows up and accepts his kindness and allows the Trojan people to rejoice in their new home alongside the people of Carthage. The refugees from the Troy saga let down their guard and begin to make their new home with the people of Carthage. Aeneas and Dido, with the help of the god Cupid, form a relationship. Reported to Aeneas, who believes he has fulfilled his destiny, receives a visit from Mercury while he is taking care of his army. The God Jove summoned Mercury to swoop down to remind Aeneas of his presumed fate.
