Essay / Are zoos prisons for animals? Are zoos shelters for animals? Are zoos educational institutions or are they just for entertainment? The debate over the true purpose of zoos has been going on for a long time. Are there so many unanswered questions when referring to animal care, animal conservation, and/or animal extinction? It's difficult to be bios in a theme that is contradictory for many people. This theme also involves many advantages and disadvantages. It could be animals living in the wild versus living in captivity, loss of the species versus conservation, and external dangers to the animals versus the security of a new home. “Zoos are internment camps for animals and should be closed. Phrases like this will be heard repeatedly from animal rights activists. The most common argument is that animals should not remain in captivity. Animals should live in the wild. It is their nature, their abode is placed on wildlife. They were not born to be behind bars or a fence. Their nature is to live freely, to catch their own food and to take care of their own safety. All of the above would seem like magical notes to the reader, but what if animal reality was different or not so simple. What if continuing to live in the wild could be the end of their species, if nature turned against them, or if humans often turned their wildlife into hell. Should zoos close when they are protecting entire species from extinction? Should zoos be closed when they rescue and care for animals, when they provide a safe home for many people before returning them to the wild? No, of course not, zoos play an important role in the restoration and conservation of planet Earth. I know that few people could take another view of my position. And they have all the rights. But we know that to have a complete scenario of things, we must consider the whole perspective and a well-supported conclusion. For countless periods of time, some animal advocates have viewed zoos as a place for people to entertain themselves. Zoos are supposed to be parks that exhibit wildlife, with the primary purpose of providing recreation or education to the public. But is this really what is happening? Zoos - hypothetically - are humane recreations of what they now call a "habitat ».”.
