    I had to move around a lot when I was a kid, the most drastic change was having to move from Indiana to Knoxville, Tennessee. I never really found my place. I was there, but I didn't feel like I belonged. This school was different. Getting the acceptable letter at the end of my 8th grade year was definitely a turning point in my life, whether I knew it or not. This school was where I felt like I belonged. This school had a sense of community, a sense of unity that I had never seen before. As many of you know, I have often worked in our school's library/media center, and I can say how instrumental each of us plays. I have had the privilege of watching this school and this class grow with me and accomplish as much as we have, and we have done it together as a family, our griffin
