No matter which path one chooses to take, they must have a bachelor's degree and obtain a nursing license. To obtain a nursing license in the first place, one must graduate from an approved nursing program and pass the National Board Licensure Examination. Typically, students take courses in anatomy, chemistry, nutrition and a few others during their studies (Office5). Besides becoming a registered nurse, one usually gets a lower-level (but still good) job because employers know how advancement works.
