    My findings describe the respondents' beliefs and experiences regarding their own gender and sexual journeys, illustrating connections to popular theories such as social constructivism, binary oppositions, gender inequality and development in a Thai context. Introduction This project explores the intersection between conceptions of gender, sexuality and their relationship with the cultures of different countries. My research goals and objectives are to explore 1) conceptions of gender and sexuality in relation to identity. My goal is to examine where sexual identity and orientation are performed or explored in relation to the social world. I will be particularly interested in religion, community life, media, work, family.
