Throughout martial arts, children will experience intense emotions, both from receiving blows and sometimes from losing the fight. When dealing with loss and physical injury, it is easy for children to become emotional, but it is through facing these emotions that they learn to control. Children gain an understanding of how they feel, patience, and an understanding of how they function as human beings. This art is very therapeutic for children who are often too aggressive and hyper active, and they learn to overcome their aggression and release their energy through this art. Allow them to reach a state of tranquility and maturity. This changes the child's mental state inside and outside the dojo, as well as in their personal life. Acquired emotional maturity forms a strong and confident child; which leads the child to be more successful in the future. Emotional maturity is a very strong aspect in life and in martial arts. In all martial arts, strict discipline is taught to children through sport. They learn to behave physically by understanding how their body works and how to behave. The mental aspect teaches children to concentrate and listen, to gain self-control and to strengthen their decision-making skills. The emotional aspect allows children to better understand how to control themselves, become patient and understand who they are. These skills taught to children
