Ready, set, jump! Splash! Over hundreds of years around the world, indoor swimming pools have been perfected by and for humans for ultimate use efficiency, enjoyment and economic potential. With this in mind, an indoor swimming pool is planned to be constructed in place of the current outdoor swimming pool for students and staff at Eastfield Community College's Main Campus (EFC) located in Mesquite, Texas. Let's be real: people want private, temperature-controlled indoor pools that are clean and efficient, rather than unsanitary, uncontrolled outdoor pools. The benefits of swimming indoors rather than outdoors for students and staff, favorable working conditions for workers, and the economic benefits to the EFC of owning an indoor pool are the reasons why a swimming pool indoor pool should be built and enjoyed instead of the current outdoor pool. on the main EFC campus. Swimming in an indoor pool will help avoid dangerous weather conditions and will also allow students and staff to avoid possible allergies. Throughout Earth's atmosphere, the weather can change suddenly and without warning. When an EFC student or staff member needs to swim in a pool for exercise and/or recreation, the only option available to them at EFC is the outdoor pool. This pool is susceptible to many types of weather conditions such as rain, snow, sleet, hail, and freezing winds and temperatures which can freeze or render an outdoor pool unusable. If a small building with an indoor pool inside were built in place of the outdoor pool, anyone attending or employed at EFC could swim year-round at any time...... middle of paper ......the majority of their pools indoors rather than outdoors. There are good reasons to do so.
