    My childhood was filled with challenges. I had a learning disability, which made me feel excluded. I couldn't concentrate in class, despite pressure from my teachers. I quickly became a target for bullies. They harassed me in the hallways, threw food at me during lunch, and made fun of me. I even felt targeted by my teachers. One day I was asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” » When I answered, “An engineer,” the teacher turned her head toward a colleague and laughed. I didn't understand why they were laughing. When I started middle school, chaos seemed to be all around me. The students were disrespectful to their teachers and each other, but I was the main target. I have been called all kinds of insulting names. Over time, I became insecure and antisocial. Every morning became a chore and I found myself constantly making excuses for not having to go to school. At that time, I remembered my goal of becoming an engineer. My cousin inspired me growing up to become a role model for students. I admire him as an icon throughout my life and have seen his success in the field of education....
