    I frowned and sat down on the dead grass. Pulling the grass out of the ground, I thought. I hated Jesse's little brother, Danny. He was always causing trouble for his family. He was a troublemaker. I always cried when Jesse told me what he did that made his parents mad. I stood up from the grass and looked at my phone, which was sitting on the silver table. I picked it up and looked at the screen. I got a text message from Matthew saying, "Hey, do you think you and Jesse can come to the graduation party?" It's going to be really fun. If you want to come, it will be at my house after the graduation ceremony, at 8 o'clock. I didn't answer. I always thought these parties always got out of hand, but then again, Jesse would want to go. She is a party girl and would like me to go. After that day, I woke up to my alarm. The graduation ceremony took place today. I got up and started to shower. After I showered, I got dressed in my pajamas because I wanted to do my hair first. I didn't want to ruin my dress at all. It was a black lace dress that Jesse had picked out for me. I plugged in my curling iron and waited for it to heat up. While it was heating up I grabbed my phone and started watching
