Essay / Texting while driving is not a good thing to do
Technology is very advanced these days. Technology makes a lot of things really simple and quick in all areas. One of the most popular technology products is the cell phone. A cell phone is an evil and an angel in many ways. I researched the topic by asking, "Are laws that prohibit people from sending and reading messages while driving a good idea?" Most people would say yes, because it's better for everyone, not just the driver. Texting while driving is very dangerous, not only for the driver, but also for other people traveling in the car. With cell phones we can communicate very easily and quickly. SMS is a very effective and voiceless service for cell phone users. It became very popular in a very short time. Many people are fans of this short message service. Many say it's not a good idea to ban texting while driving because, for the police officer, it's really hard to know. The police department said it only issues sixteen tickets for texting while driving in a year. In the state of California, people text a lot, but the accident rate is lower than other states. One more thing, even if the government passes a law to ban texting, the rate of car accidents will still not go down (“texting”). First of all, texting isn't really good for anyone. If the driver texts while driving, they are putting themselves in danger. It's very dangerous for everyone. There was a seventeen year old girl named Alex Brown. She was texting and emailing while driving and lost her life in a car accident (Eversley). This is proof that texting is very distracting and can lead to car accidents. This is the reason why no one should text while doctor...... middle of paper...... other laws need to be respected more so it's good for every driver . Overall, banning texting is a way to avoid sadness. The entire universe depends on everyone's trust and cooperative nature. People should just stay focused on driving, not texting and driving, and then this world would be a little better.
