Discipline is rare in these homes because the parent plays the role of a friend more than that of a parent. Uninvolved parents are sensitive to the child, but not very much at all. They tend to have little or no communication with their child and are detached from their lives. These parents usually provide for the child's basic needs, but in some serious cases, the child's basic needs are neglected. What seems to be the best parenting style is the democratic or authoritarian style. Parents who use this parenting method statically end up with a better-balanced, better-adjusted child who develops into an independent adult as he or she grows. Some parents decide to change their parenting style for many different reasons. Although not all children respond to a parenting style in the same way as another child. Styles vary according to different aspects of the child's life. Various factors can affect children's development as well as parenting style. The economy is one of the factors that can affect the child and the parents in many areas of their lives. Just like parents' income, their work and education affect the entire family in terms of health, education, neighborhood safety, as well as nutrition and well-being.
