Essay / Leadership in the project called Kids against Hunger
Leadership is an art that evolves over time. My experience has allowed me to acquire the key principles that make me a leader. Recently, I became president of the Denver South High School Key Club. A self-funded group that provides students with leadership and public service opportunities. It provides students with life experience and helps develop their leadership skills. As president, I coordinate and organize events that allow members to serve their community. With a very solid team, we are able to fulfill our duties as leaders. It was late October, as we were adjusting to our new roles; we were given an exciting project called Kids against Hunger. This project required a lot of preparation and organization. I started by researching the project thoroughly and learning more information before presenting this project to my agents. Kids Against Hunger provides meals to malnourished and starving children around the world. Our goal was to prepare a quarter of a million meals in two days.
