Essay / Madness in Macbeth - 1569
The witches give Macbeth his fate. All the while, he is not interested in his fate but only in his downfall. Another thing that was evident throughout this scene was the fact that even though the vision appeared, it only appeared once it replayed itself in Macbeth's mind. Macbeth's mind is so clouded by the fact that he is "invincible" that it almost makes him a ghost, who only sees power and murder. This quote could go both ways because a ghost or vision is a literal or physical phenomenon.
