    Lit Review of CommunicationThe Business Dictionary defines communication as a two-way process aimed at achieving mutual understanding in which participants exchange information, news, ideas and feelings, but also create and share meaning (communication). while business communication refers to the communication that occurs within an organization and how a company shares information to promote its services to potential customers (business communication). There are different channels of communication, the three that I found interesting were: the ascending channel, the descending channel and the horizontal channel. The ascending channel refers to the flow from bottom to top, from the messenger such as a subordinate to the boss while the descending channel refers to the information that flows from top to bottom, for example from managers to subordinates, while the horizontal channel reference to information that circulates through employees of the same status (Ogunihi, 2013). Communication as a number of roles it includes: it transmits information, thoughts or feelings so that they are received and understood satisfactorily; it tries to convey knowledge and ideas that will help organize a workplace, it makes the staff of a workplace open to each other, good communication leads to good performance and vice versa, poor communication leads to poor performance, it shapes a society, organization or workplace, it leads to the end result of an organization or workplace and it serves as a mirror through which an establishment, organization and place of work are perceived (2013).
