There are more than three billion people living on Earth; However, not everyone adores each other. On the other hand, if people met Bill and Bud, two main characters from The Tender Bar, they would find them charming. JR Moehringer has written a moving autobiography about himself and his devastating life. In The Tender Bar, JR walks into a bookstore in a rundown strip mall and meets Bill and Bud, who change his life forever. Many young people, teenagers, and adults would find Bill and Bud likeable, as they are both intelligent, optimistic, and loving. To begin with, Bill and Bud are intelligent people, who many people would find likeable, owning a bookstore, "they had read everything that had been written and were determined to read everything new that was published each month" (Moehringer, 3 ) They didn't have to read the books, Bill and Bud could have just stocked them and ordered new reading materials for customers to read.
