Essay / overpopulation - 1303
OverpopulationThe world's population has increased dramatically over the years and is increasing daily. It affects both developed and developing countries. Twenty percent of the richest people are those who consume eighty-six percent of all services and goods. In 1972, three scientists created a computer model analyzing global resource consumption and production. Overpopulation affects our resources. Over the past three decades, population growth has affected the entire world. The world population increases by two hundred thousand people per day and the world population increases by eighty million people per year. Nearly half the population is twenty-five years old or younger, and the decision they make during their reproductive years will depend on whether the population reaches six or fourteen billion by 2100. According to the United Nations, l he population growth slowed or even stopped at one point in Europe, North America and Japan. Most of the growth is taking place in sub-Saharan Africa and parts of South and West Asia. These are undoubtedly the places that experience the most shortages of natural resources. The Earth can only provide a certain amount of water and food, and all of this is at risk. The problems caused by overpopulation are water shortages, food shortages and pollution. Overpopulation affects our water source. Water is extremely important and is necessary for the survival of everyone and everything. As our global population continues to increase dramatically, so does the demand for fresh water. We are starting to have water shortages in the middle of paper......and trees help control pollution. If more trees start being cut down, pollution will only increase, affecting the ozone layer and global temperature. So if the population is well educated as well as educated in sexual matters and they are intelligent in matters of family planning. By family planning and sex education, I mean that when a couple decides to produce a child, they must ask themselves if they have money to feed the child and if they do not have it, they do not should simply not have children because then the child will not have the necessary nutrition. they need it and it will also affect other people's taxes because they end up having to support low income children and family. So if we keep these ideas in mind, there is still hope that our planet's population will stabilize and be just. “Population growth is a choice, not an inexorable force of nature.”
