Benito Mussolini decided to involve Italy in World War II. This decision had a negative impact on Italy. After World War I, the Italian people were angry because Italy had not gotten more land through the peace accords. There was no need to involve Italy in World War II. Getting involved in this war could have easily been avoided, but Mussolini decided to help and is trying to give the Italians what they wanted.
