    This campaign will aim to change attitudes towards alcohol abuse. The reason behind this campaign is that young people today don't realize how dangerous alcohol can be and just see it as something they have to try. A survey carried out by the Ipsos MORI Institute for Social Research for Drinkaware (2013) suggests that of 754 adolescents aged 10-17, 60% think it is acceptable to try alcohol at their age (which could easily turn into a regularity), while 18% of them believe that it is acceptable to regularly consume alcoholic beverages. These figures should be much lower, and if young people were made aware of the dangers of alcohol abuse, they could change their minds about drinking alcohol at a young age. Characteristics of the Communicator The communicator of this message will be a young man between the age of 21-25 who is now an alcoholic due to his drinking from a young age which turned into an addiction.
