  • Essay / The Effect of Sexual Orientation on Society - 1976

Many issues have arisen in our culture that may conflict with a traditional view. Day after day I see people abandoning their conservative lifestyle and adopting a flamboyant and loud lifestyle. I cannot identify a single group or sector of people, beliefs, or ideologies that morally impairs future generations; but I will expose sexual orientation and how it affects us, socially, emotionally and politically. There is a wide range of ideas that affect multiple areas of our lives as a national community. However, the real challenge lies in choosing your lifestyle. Would it be one where you live as a morally upright citizen in an ever-corrupt world, or is it one where you allow your moral mandates to be dictated by various media, entertainment, and pop culture ideologies. I believe that the further America moves from its moral righteousness, the worse our economy does, but no one has made that connection yet. When will a president finally declare abortion illegal? This may well force some of these women to resort to birth control. My argument is not about government or politics, but about "What is the world coming too?" » People should sit down and rationalize in their minds the correlation between God and the United States, and return to their founding principles. After all, it was a man of God who wrote the constitution..
