    Columbine High School experienced one of the biggest traumas in 1999. Two red high school students named Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris went to school with the mind focused on something other than English papers. No, they were busy planning how to blow up the majority of their high school students and staff. Their homemade bomb never activated, several hundred lives were spared. Unfortunately, when Harris and Klebold realized their explosive had never detonated, they continued inside the school building. They then killed twelve classmates and a teacher. Twenty-one were injured (Rosenburg). Can you imagine being there that day on what you thought would be a Monday like any other? How devastating! Worse yet, try to imagine that she is the mother of one of the students who was shot and killed. No matter how many tears are shed and prayers offered, it is impossible to restore their lives. Comparing this pain with what ordinary people experience every day makes life seem like a fairy tale. Harris wrote down in his diary everything he hated. Deeply hateful teenagers dwell on this thing and never let go, but since both boys committed suicide after the incident, no one can really know why these seemingly average teenagers killed so many students. They obviously hated many things in life. Maybe they were victims of harassment, maybe they were exposed to too many violent video games? The possibilities are endless and judging by the journal, whether or not they are mentally stable is something to consider. In this article, we'll focus on the four most likely cases of what would push someone to this extreme.
