The events of December 7, 1941 at Pearl Harbor are those which, along with many others, will forever be remembered as a historic day not only in the history but also in the navy. and military history as well. In this essay, I will first explain and describe the attack on Pearl Harbor. I will do this from the perspective of a veteran who, at the time, was stationed at Pearl Harbor as a U.S. Naval Cadet, describing the events on this topic to a news anchor from a local newspaper. I also explain what happened after the attack and explain if there was any possible way to prevent it. Next, I will play the role of a news anchor and describe the events of September 11, 2001. I will interview a person who survived this terrorist attack and describe whether it could have been prevented in any way. To follow, I will compare and contrast the two infamous events. Finally, I will explain what Pearl Harbor taught me and the world, which will relate to today. Finally, I will include images of Pearl Harbor and the events of 9/11 before and after the attacks.
