  • Essay / Vietnam: the ideal vacation spot! - 1298

Vietnam is one of those countries whose beauty cannot be understood without ever visiting it. Not much is known about the country, except for its famous “Pho” noodles. For example, few people know that the country broke away from the Chinese empire in 938 AD. As a result, part of Vietnamese culture is of Chinese origin. The local culture revolves around the belief in humanity and harmony, which makes them pleasant to be around. However, like other Southeast Asian countries, Vietnam has some security issues in different aspects of the country, such as food and transportation. Regardless of these slight safety concerns, Vietnam is certainly a family destination that should not be taken off the bucket list. When visiting a foreign country, safety is one of the most important factors to consider. Luckily, for all those “Pho-hungry tourists,” Vietnam is a relatively safe country to visit. Although crime exists in Vietnam, crime rates are as high as in other Southeast Asian countries. The chances of being confronted with violent crimes are present but very low. Unfortunately, petty crimes are more likely to occur, especially at tourist sites, but this is also the case in other tourist destinations around the world, even Italy. Additionally, “Vietnam enjoys a high degree of political and social stability. » (Vietnam Travel Safety, nd) Undeterred by the country's crime rate, the Vietnamese government is led by a dominant party that helps maintain the integrity of the government. The only group opposed to the ruling party is a small and insignificant group. The stability of the government is due to the presence of a dominant party. So it's very unlikely that someone would be caught in an insurrection... in the middle of a newspaper... in their daily diet. Not having Vietnam as a planned family destination could leave someone with lifelong regrets. Works Cited Attitude towards oneself.
