However, with the Swing Vote movie, I was absolutely stuck on the couch, my brother and dad were completely drawn into the movie with me. The entire time the movie was showing, I sat there watching the movie Swing Vote. I was so amazed by the plot of the movie and how they made it so real. I had never heard of Kevin Costner but my dad is a huge fan of his and I now understand why, he did such a great job playing the father in this movie, he really seemed to bring the role to life. Madeline Carroll, who played Molly, the daughter of a drunken and irresponsible father, was one of my favorite actors in the movie Swing Vote; she did a great job of stepping in and helping her father when he needed it most. In the film, you see how the Democratic and Republican parties react to the fact that only one person is going to decide who becomes president. Both parties would listen to what Bud was against or supported, then film commercials so that Bud would be convinced to vote for them. The things we saw the candidates do in the film give us insight into what's really going on in the political system, especially now as we go through the presidential elections. After watching the movie Swing Vote, I decided that before I vote once I am an adult, I will research each candidate and evaluate my options and
